On Ærø, in the town of Marstal, you will find the charming old sailors’ widows’ home, Aggershøj, dating back to 1908.
When you arrive at the beautiful Aggershøj Guesthouse, with its fountain in the front garden and small turrets on the roof, you immediately sense the atmosphere and the whisper of history.
We serve a delicious breakfast made with local ingredients from the island, which can be ordered at check-in.

In the room wing of the house are the 12 lovely rooms where the sailors’ widows once lived. We have carefully upgraded the interior so that they now appear modern and cozy.
The rooms feature a comfortable double bed and a small washbasin, but unfortunately there is no space for extra beds.
Children aged 8 and above are very welcome.
